The Casa de Dom Inácio is a spiritual healing centre located in the small town of Abadiânia, about one and a half hour’s
drive from Brasilia. It was established by João Texeira de Faria, a powerful trance medium better known as John of God
(João de Deus in Portuguese), who conducts healing sessions there three days each week from Wednesday through Friday.
It was named for the Entity who serves as its patron, St Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits.
People flock to the Casa from all over the world, seeking help with ailments of all kinds - physical, emotional and spiritual.
No-one is turned away. Many people report extraodinary healings. Most experience profound changes during their visit or after returning home.
Healing is performed by discarnate spirits (called “Entities” in Brazil). Over 35 Entities incorporate in the body of
John of God including St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Francis Xavier and King Solomon. Many more work
unincorporated on the crowds assembled for healing.
